Who Are We?
The Awsworth Youth & Community Centre is registered with the Charity Commission for England and Wales (514283). The centre was originally built in 1999 as a youth wing to accommodate ABC Youth Club and benefit those living in Awsworth and the surrounding areas such as Babbington and Cossall.
We are located in the heart of Awsworth, adjoining the Village Hall who we share a car park with.
Over the years our space has been used for everything from children's breakfast clubs, charitable fundraisers, and council meetings to NHS blood donation alongside the Village Hall.
The centre can be hired out by suitable groups from only £10 per hour, making it an affordable option for smaller community groups and charities to hold their meetings and events.
As a charity, we aim to provide and support groups that benefit members of the local community and enhance their general well-being and livelihoods, particularly the young people. For that reason, we do not take bookings for celebration parties or events that we do not feel match our charitable aims. We particularly welcome enquiries from schools, children's leisure groups, NHS health and community organisations. If you are unsure please do not hesitate to get in touch and tell us more about your group.
Our Facilities
Three unisex and fully accessible toilets
Perfect for smaller activity groups, meetings or health/wellbeing drop-in sessions.
Please be aware that we are unsuitable for high-impact movement groups due to the smaller area and hard floor.
