Awsworth Methodist Church

 

The Methodist Churches in Nottingham North East are as diverse as the people who make up our congregations each week. Awsworth Methodist Church has made us its home since 2014 when the renovations needed for their building made it impossible to continue there.

 

Morning worship takes place on Sunday at 10:30 am.

Amigos Friendship Group

 

A group for people who want to chat and meet other people. Amigos was originally set up to help prevent loneliness for older residents and takes place on the 2nd Wednesday of the month from 2 pm– 4 pm.

 

Homemade cakes, tea and coffee are usually served to start then it’s a quiz, bingo, speaker or similar with fun and laughter interspersed.

Ilkeston Photo 2000

 

Your local, friendly, social photography club. Weekly meetings, competitions, lectures and regular social events. A medium-sized photographic club with around 25 plus members.

 

Meetings are held at 7:30 - 10 pm on Tuesday evenings.

Ilkeston Arts and Camera Club

 

We are a keen group of amateur Artists and Photographers that meet on a Monday evening from September to April. We have fun evenings and we are all very friendly, we have competitions that engage both Artists and Photographers and discuss a wide range of techniques and styles, we also have demonstration evenings where local Artists will visit the club showing their work and how they have created it, you can even have a go yourself!

 

Meetings are held at 7:30 - 9:30 pm on Monday evenings.

Praise, Prayer and Share - Awsworth

 

Praise, prayer and share is an informal Christian women's meeting in the small village of Awsworth that aims to encourage women to support, listen and pray for each other. Children are joyfully welcome, don't worry if yours are noisy, so are ours!

 

Meetings are held every Wednesday from 6:30 - 8:30 pm.
